Durrow Celtic High Cross Pendant

This magnificent 8th century Celtic cross hails from Co. Offaly, Ireland, and depicts Christ flanked by trumpeting angels and the Lamb of God in the centre, with the base of the cross featuring Daniel and the Lion, David the Harpist, and Abraham and Isaac. Named for Durrow Monastery, which was founded by St. Columba in the 6th century, this famous cross has been recognized through the centuries for it's stunning detail.
