This ‘Wales Forever’ or ‘Cymru am Byth’ bowl is all about pride and patriotism, which the Welsh have in spades. This is also the rallying cry of the Welsh Guards.
The Dragon was chosen as a symbol of Wales in the time of Henry VII (15th Century). This was done in tribute to the Welsh people who had made his victory possible, as he fought the Tudor claim to be the true rulers of Britain.
